    Deprecation and Decommissioning Announcement: Insight Center


    Formal announcement date: September 22, 2025


    We are announcing the planned deprecation and eventual decommissioning of Insight Center, our current analytics solution. This decision is part of our ongoing effort to modernize our analytics experience and provide a more scalable, intuitive, and powerful platform for our customers through the new Analytics app & AWS QuickSight reporting.





    Deprecation Timeline

    • September 22, 2025Formal Deprecation Announcement

      • Insight Center officially enters deprecated status.

      • No new feature development will occur for Insight Center.

    • September 2025 – September 2026 (minimum 12 months)Deprecated Support Period

      • Features in deprecated status will remain available.

      • Only defects classified as Critical or High Severity will be resolved.

      • Users are encouraged to begin transitioning to the new Analytics app & AWS QuickSight reporting.

    • From September 2026 onwardsPlanned Decommissioning

      • Insight Center will be fully retired.

      • Access will no longer be available after the decommissioning milestone.

      • By this date, users should fully transition to the new Analytics app & AWS QuickSight reporting.




    Transition to the new Analytics app & QuickSight reporting

    The new Analytics app & AWS QuickSight reporting will replace Insight Center as the primary analytics experience. While feature parity will not be 100% complete at the time of this deprecation announcement, we are committed to ensuring that core analytics workflows are supported.

    • Feature Mapping: A mapping guide below is meant to help users transition from Insight Center content to equivalent or enhanced capabilities in the new Analytics app and AWS QuickSight reporting.

    • Ongoing Enhancements: Additional functionality will continue to be rolled out within the new Analytics app & AWS QuickSight reporting during the deprecation period to address remaining feature gaps.

    • User Experience Benefits: AWS QuickSight provides faster performance, scalability to 100M+ rows, AI-powered insights with Amazon Q AI-assistant, and a more intuitive, embedded experience inside the platform.

    What This Means for Users

    • Insight Center remains available until at least September 2026.

    • No new features will be added to Insight Center, but critical issues will continue to be supported.

    • Users should begin transitioning dashboards, reports, and workflows to the new Analytics app & AWS QuickSight reporting.

    • Support teams will provide migration guidance and resources throughout the deprecation period.
