The account activation consists of 5 simple steps after which you should be able to start receiving purchase orders and forecast documents from Lely:
- Open invitation. You will receive an invitation from Tradeshift asking you to create your account
- Accept invitation. You will have to accept the invitation in order to transact with Lely on the platform
- Complete profile. You would have to complete your profile by adding some additional information
- Invite team members. You would have to invite the users from your company to join the company account
- Activate applications. You would have to activate the Quyntess applications to get started with the transactions
1. Open invitation
As a first step you will have to find and open the invitation sent by Tradeshift
- You will receive an e-mail from information@tradeshift.com asking you sign up for the supplier portal
- Check your mailbox for the message that will look like the pictures on the right
- Make sure you also check your spam folder as sometimes invitations tend to land there
- If no mail arrives even into your spam folder you could consult your IT department whether it was caught on the firewall
- In case no mail is found you will have to inform Lely of the lost invitation
2. Accept invitation
Once the invitation is found you will have to activate your account by clicking the sign up hyperlink in the message
- You accept the invitation by clicking on the orange button in the message which will lead you to the portal
- Once there you will find that your business name and country has already been prefilled, make sure you do not change that
- Optionally you can add company size and industry
- By clicking confirm you will be directed to the next page where you can enter your user name and create your password
- You can still select your preferred language and have to accept the terms and conditions
- Clicking “Create account” will trigger an email similar to the invitation to confirm the account creation
3. Complete profile
After confirming the account creation you will asked to complete your profile with additional company details
- Tradeshift will ask you to fill out some generic information about your company
- You can add generic info such as a company website, description and generic contact details
- It is not mandatory to fill these fields however well advised as your profile could be leveraged as a company business card
- Once you have entered the information you want to share you can click on Update profile which will conclude the account creation
4. Invite team members
Now that you have created your company account it is time to invite your team members
- To invite team members first you have to navigate to your company profile using the sidebar listing the apps on your account
- Just below the map you fill the caption “Team” which can be edited by clicking on the edit button
- The sidebar opening on the right will present you with the option to “Add user(s)”
- The new window opening will allow you to enter the details of the person you would like to add to the company account
- Once you have entered the minimum details the Add user button on the bottom becomes green indicating that you can send the invitation to your colleague
5. Activate applications
After inviting all your team members one last step is left before you can start using Tradeshift
- As a last step you will have to activate the applications in order to be able to transact with Lely
- The first app to activate is to enable the technical background communication called API – Access to own accounts. This app can be found in the App Store.
- Second one would be the Order Collaboration app to enable receiving and collaborating on purchase orders. Once your Tradeshift account is activated, you can install the app via this link.
- Lastly the Forecast collaboration/ Delivery Schedules app is to be activated to be able to receive the delivery forecasts. Once your Tradeshift account is activated, you can install the app via this link.
If you did everything correctly the following screen should welcome you when opening the Order Collaboration or the D-Schedules app:
Congratulations! Now you will just have to wait until the date of the Go-live before you can access your purchase orders and delivery forecasts. Once your documents will start coming in you will be notified via e-mail messages that there are documents waiting for you on the portal.
